On May 16, Coinbase Ventures announced its first investment in Compound Labs, a start-up building Ethereum
smart contracts similar to money markets.
And these men - because they are almost exclusively men - have
a plan for what to do with the wealth: They want to build a crypto utopia, a new
city where the money is virtual and the contracts
are all public, to show the rest of the world what a crypto future could look like.
Like with the stock market, you want to diversify.
Before I move on to the next way to get free cryptocurrency, I want to say it again: Many airdrops are scams, and you should be doing
significant due diligence before participating in one,
even if you found it on a website like one of the ones listed above.
Their method is like many standard scams-they send an email with
links that lead holders to a specially created website and ask them to
enter private keys. The influx of users caused Coinbase's website to crash.
